Summary
The Case Lake District Projects are comprised of three projects, the Case Lake North (7,476 ha), the Case Lake South (2,711 ha), and the Stimson (1,631 ha), totaling 11,818 ha in area. The three projects have good access to most parts of the properties.
All three projects are located around the prospective Case Lake Batholith which is a fertile source for the rare-earth (lithium, cesium, and tantalum) mineralization in the Case Lake District; A/CNK of the Case Lake Batholith ranges from 1.0 to as high as 3.0 where A/CNK = 1.0 to 1.1 is mildly peraluminous and >1.2 is strongly peraluminous the higher the aluminum content, and the greater the abundance of AL-rich minerals, such as garnet and muscovite.
In addition, the Case Lake North and the Case Lake South Projects are situated along trend of Power Metals Corp. (PWM.V) discovered spodumene-bearing pegmatites and next to RT Minerals (RTM.V) announced east-west trending pegmatitic dykes.
The Stimson Project has nine historical drill holes completed in the southern part of the project hosted in the metavolcanic with one of the holes, PT 94-11, intercepted two intervals of 30m wide noting with “Pegmatite contains green feldspar (spodumene or microcline)”.
(note: no historical drill cores available for relog and require relocation of the historical collar for further review and confirmation)
Exploration
- Continue to prospect and explore the three projects with mapping and sampling to establish a background geochemical database to key into areas with higher exploration potential.
- Relocate the historical drill holes at the Stimson Project and prospect around the area where the historical “pegmatites” would project on surface.
