Gathering Lake Project

Summary

The Gathering Lake Project is comprised of three properties, the Gathering Lake South (3,864 ha), the East (986 ha), and the West (2,098 ha) properties, totaling 6,948 ha; the three properties are less than five kms from each other that can be accessed by trucks and ATVs. The Gathering Lake Project is located in the Georgia Lake District that is well known for lithium and spodumene mineralization next to:

  1. Balkan Mining’s (ASX: BMM) Gorge Lithium Project with spodumene mineralization up to 3.22% Li2O at Nelson and up to 2.88% Li2O at Koshman showings.
  2. Tearlach Resources’ (TEA.V) Georgina Property with spodumene mineralization up to 4.04% Li2O over 0.70m from a channel sample (see press release dated November 28, 2023 from Tearlach Resources).

Exploration

In the 2023 exploration program completed by Beyond Lithium, a total of 56 samples were collected in the Gathering Lake area with 12 samples are still pending for results. Two muscovite samples yielded up to 1,477 and 2,075ppm Li with 31 and 35 K/Rb ratio respectively in the northwest corner of the Gathering South Property and another muscovite sample returned 865ppm Li and 51 K/Rb ratio in the southern pegmatite of the Property. To date, over 640 data waypoints have been collected and compiled from the Phase 1 program to further map out the area and define the metasedimentary contact with the Glacier Lake Batholith as the contact acts as the structural conduit for pegmatites formation.

The overall lithium values in pegmatites collected from the 2023 exploration program range from 100 to 200ppm Li and up to 1,477 and 2,075ppm Li in two muscovite samples from pegmatite with K/Rb ratio ranges at about 50-60 show significant elevated lithium program to warrant for a follow up exploration program:

  1. More sampling and mapping across the Gathering Lake South Property keying in along trend of the highly elevated lithium samples in muscovite-bearing pegmatites.
  2. Establish a lithium zonation or trend in the Gathering South area.
  3. Continue to prospect along other metasediment-granite contact structures.
  4. Explore along the metasediment-granite contact structure that extends to Tearlach Resources’ (TEA.V) spodumene-bearing pegmatites.
