Summary
Beyond Lithium has six projects as the Mavis Lake District Projects totaling 11,711 ha in area in the Dryden-Mavis Lake District including the Webb West (625 ha), the Webb East (2,934 ha), the Laval (1,042 ha), the Gullwing-tot (645 ha), the Satellite (1,287 ha), and the Temple Bay (5,178 ha) projects located next to the Mavis Lake Lithium Project owned by Critical Resources (ASS: CRR) that has a defined resource of 8Mt at 1.07% Li2O. Projects in this district can be easily accessed by trucks via nearby highway and are close to the town of Dryden, Ontario, with excellent existing infrastructures. In addition, the Mavis Lake District Projects are located within 100km to Beyond Lithium’s two spodumene projects – the Ear Falls Spodumene Project and the Victory Spodumene Project.
Exploration
The Mavis Lake District Projects are located along the subprovince boundary and subparallel regional fault structure associated with the regional Glacier Lake Batholith. The Glacier Lake Batholith is the main source of several fertile plutons identified in the areas including the Bottle Bay Stock at the Temple Bay Project, the Laval Lake Stock at the Laval Project, and the Gullwing Lake Batholith in between the Webb West, the Webb East, and the Gullwing-Tot Projects.
In 2023, Beyond Lithium’s technical team visited all six projects in the Mavis Lake District. All projects returned with mapped pegmatites and grab samples with elevated lithium up to 402ppm Li and 99ppm Cs and K/Rb as low as 40. More importantly, most of the elevated lithium samples (>50ppm Li) coincides with the overall regional mineralization trend at NE-SW signifying the correlation between the regional and the property scale mineralization trend. Based on the results and data collected from the 2023 exploration program, several exploration targets or trends are delineated at the six projects for follow up in the next exploration program.
